After spending so many years perfecting your techniques and forms you might reach a level of confidence and curiosity that empowers you to start tearing it all down and create deliberately imperfect pieces. It’s a challenge worth taking.

During the act of creation, there comes a deep, immersive moment when the clay comes to life on its own – when I no longer direct, but listen and follow. Night Sea was born from these moments. It shapes how we drift in the unknown while trusting the path of invisible currents and embracing the beauty hidden within imperfection.

Each of my Whispering Globes is a kind of connection: a keeper of secrets, wishes, and unspoken thoughts. Their surfaces carry the imprint of ocean waves, and their forms evoke those silent forces that shape us unnoticed.

As one-of-a-kind handmade ceramics, they bring a quiet, but powerful presence into any home. Some pieces reflect the calm of the depths, others the storm of transformation. All of them invite you to touch, to immerse yourself, and to share with others.

Whispering Globes: One-of-a-kind Art

For more than a decade I have been continuously creating Whispering Globes, whose name and function also come from my own idea: “a special packaging material designed to deliver good wishes.” Tangible, self-contained universes. Each piece is a study of form and surface, an artistic experiment.

My choice of form was intentional; I found it exciting to translate the Japanese ensō into three dimensions. But the globes also revive other ancient and universal symbols: they refer to wholeness, unity, protection, and femininity, among many other mystical associations.
