This Raku-fired Whispering Globe reminds my husband of some kind of cataclysm like the Permian extinction, but we ended up titling this as the Abyss.
Finding a proper name is mostly fun and natural, but there are Raku ceramic pieces that defy our powers of imagination and need more time and inspiration to get completed. As I believe right titles have an important part in the pieces I make.
